This weekend was the Nationwide Latin & Ballroom Competition. 7 dancers from Boothferry Dancentre had qualified to compete in this competition. Unfortunately, only 4 of our dancers managed to get recalls. These dancers were Sarah Rich, Sophie Brooke, Wendy Booth and Anne Jarrold. In this writer's opinion, the judging by no means reflected the standard of dancing on the day, and congratulations to all our dancers who competed. Hopefully, there will be a few more photographs to add to the gallery soon, so keep on checking it. The results for the weekend have already been posted on the internet at Scrutelle For example, I competed in the 16-24 Mens Latin, competitor 179. 3 of the judges thought I was good enough in my Samba, and only 2 for the Paso Doble.
